The Asean Football Federation Club Championship Competition will be staged in Brunei DS from 22 to 31 July 2005. Eight top clubs from the Asean countries will gather at Bandai Seri Begawan, Brunei DS to battle out for the AFF Club Championship 2005.
Double Champions 2004 Tampines Rovers FC representing Singapore is drawn to play in Group B together with Myanmar's Finance & Revenue FC , Tobacco FC from Thailand and Bruneian hosts Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota FC (DPMM FC).
The teams in Group A are Zebra FC (TLeste), Nagacorp FC (Cam), Pahang FA (MAS) and Hoang Anh Gia Lai (VIE).
As the competition only permits 3 foreigners, Stags midfielder Hucika Branko is omitted out from the competition. Stags ace striker, Noh Alam Shah will be in the squad provided his overseas training stint period in England does not coincide with the competition period.
The Stags contingent will depart for Brunei on 20 July 2005. Our best wishes to the Stags in the regional competition.
